Eazi Benjamin, who originally hails from Milwaukee and Chicago, has been writing poetry as a form of release therapy since the age of 12, and has continuously evolved his writing to master his craft.  He has performed in the Midwest at multiple showcases and conferences. He moved to Houston in the winter of 2019 to professionally pursue his Poetry Dreams and hasn’t looked back since.  Can you believe he has already performed on over a hundred stages, including Houston Improv?  He recently moved to Arizona with the goal of expanding his name brand across the west coast and to become one of the rising stars in the poetry space.  Strap into your seats, and be prepared to be blown away, because coming to our stage is Eazi Benjamin.

HomeBase Poetry Open Mic is the perfect place for poets and poetry enthusiasts alike. It is considered to be one of the most upscale open mics in the country and for good reason! The supportive and enthusiastic audience is just the beginning. At HomeBase, you'll find a family atmosphere where you can express all those ideas that you've been itching to share, or just listen and watch. You can groove to the songs you miss and grew up to, or close your eyes and be moved by live music from the most skillful musicians in the game.

HomeBase is also home to feature artists from all over the country, as well as from right here in Phoenix. Our DJs interact with the host and crowd, moving your soul with pure ear candy. Small business vendors will be there with unique and quality goods, services, and information that you can't find anywhere else. But the best thing about HomeBase is the crew and the Citizens who have made it their home. A room full of positive people with great energy...and looking good at the same time!
