About the event

Year 2024 is a monumental landmark for Dee Lucas, as he celebrates 20 years as a recording artist/entrepreneur who also happens to own his master catalog of music. As much as he is a visionary, he never thought he would see 20 years of longevity in this tough and competitive music industry as an independent artist. But after releasing 10 charting albums internationally as an independent artist and touring across the country as a perfomer, he is still here.

The journey continues in 2024, as he has now released his 11th album titled “TWENTY” (20 years as a solo recording artist). It will feature some of the best and world-renowned producers/musicians in the smooth jazz industry.

National recording artist and saxophonist Dee Lucas has been noted as the hardest working indie artist in contemporary jazz while steadily growing his brand and fan base beginning with Remembrance in 2004.  As a runner-up in the 2007 Capital Jazz Festival Competition, Dee Lucas has co-billed with an extensive number of artists such as Boney James, Norman Brown, Ronnie Laws, Nnenna Freelon, Hugh Masekela, Gregg Karukas, Peter White, Nick Colionne, Michael Franks, Peabo Bryson, Miki Howard, The Manhattans, and Howard Hewett just name a few. He has performed at several jazz festivals such as The Arizona Jazz Festival, The Jacksonville Jazz Festival, The Savannah Jazz Festival, The Atlanta Jazz Festival, & The Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival.

Along with Dee's smooth jazz performance, you can enjoy a late night dinner, drinks and dancing to some of your favorite R&B, lofi and Jazz mixes played by the DJ.
